A mutilated deed, with sides cut, whereby Thomas Williams of .... co. Merioneth, gentleman, and Margaret, his wife, agree to levy a fine to John Vaughan of Caergai, same co., Esq., on (a messuage) and land in Penmaen, parish of Llanvawr, same co., called Penmaen alias Blaenyfedw, alias Tythun Gronow fongam alias Llwyn Howell, and other lands called y ffrith, y Rhos, y fedw, cae yn y Drws vcha, Cae yn Drws Issa, y Cerrig, y Bryn vcha, y Bryn Issa, y Coed Issa, y Cae Kill, y ddau gae gwyn, y Cae Beudu Newydd, y Cae Issa, Cae (r) fownog, y tri cyfer alias Cae tunty .... Nant, y Cae Banadle, Bryn Methiedig, Llwyn Howell, y Lledfron and Pwll (r) Gaer, etc., in Penmaen as above, called Tu yn y Nant, formally described in the fine as lying in Penmaen and T. Williams, having received £105 from J. Vaughan aforesaid, conveys the premises to the said J. Vaughan, subject to conditions of redemption, etc., at specified dates. Signature of John Vaughan.
