The file comprises an original bundle of deeds and papers relating to the Gouge family of London and the Mynors family of Treago, including the bond of Richard the elder, Walter and Richard [Nurse/Mirse?] the younger, all of Caryrvadock, Herefordshire, yeomen, to Richard Mynors, having sold him their growing corn, grass etc., 1577, quitclaim by John Brown of Treago to Rowland Mynors in respect of any debts owed to Thomas Cowper of Treago, dec., 1616, the receipt of Mathewe Shoughe, son of Mathewe Shoughe of Gwenndee in the parish of St Weonards, Herefordshire, yeoman, dec., of £7 received from Walter Pye of the same place, yeoman, 1627/8, a a release by Christopher Lambe of Buckland Brewer, Devon, clothier, to Thomas Gouge of London, merchant, from a mortgage, 1697, draft and cancelled wills of Robert Mynors, 1699/1700 and 1734, an abstract of title of Robert Mynors to the Treago estate, 1700-1750, the will of Thomasin Mynors, spinster, proved 1752, an abstract of writings (1714-1745) belonging to Robert Mynors and mortgaged to Mr Fisher, 1752, a letter of attorney relating to a surrender and admission to a copyhold messuage (46 a.) in Mile End and Old Ford in the manor of Stepney, Middlesex, 1755, and an abstract of deeds (1700-1742) relating to the estate of Robert Mynors Gouge, 1759.
