Received letters from addressee and Jocky. Guns arrived at last. Lang of Cockspur packed them badly and the rifle is damaged and there is no bullet mould or single cartridge. Not sure if Lang or Needham of Piccadilly is to blame. Received Mrs Morgan's letter in yours, will present it if I go through Madras. Bed and ground sheet not turned up. A native Niah has invited us to shoot and has promised 60 beaters. Tiger and panther near his place have taken away bullocks. On Wednesday we go to the Valley for a fortnight or so, so don't expect letters. Jocky is welcome to ride Gimblet.
