Bu Dafydd Morris Jones yn ysgrifennydd Cyngor Gwlad Ceredigion o'r 1950au hyd y 1980au, a chyn hynny bu'n ysgrifennydd yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol ar ei hymweliad ag Aberystwyth yn 1952 a hynny wedi iddo raddio o'r Coleg.
