A scrap-book containing papers, photographs and printed ephemera, 1856-1965, relating to the history of Penrhyn-coch, parish of Trefeurig, co. Cardigan, compiled c. 1960-1965 by Rees Jones (1899-1977), headmaster of Penrhyn-coch school, 1927-1964. Included are items concerning Horeb Baptist chapel, Penrhyn-coch, Madog Calvinistic Methodist chapel, and St John's church, Penrhyn-coch; Penrhyn-coch school; the Pryse family of Gogerddan; inhabitants of the area who served in the First and Second World Wars; and various cultural and other activities in the village.
