Minutes of 8 meetings of the Conciliation Board for the Coal Trade of Monmouthshire and South Wales, including meetings of a joint sub-committee appointed to deal with anomalies in the South Wales coalfield (as compared to wages in other coalfields) under the recent National Wages Agreement. Discussions were held on topics such as anomalies in wages for different groups of workmen, double shifts, the Brynglais Colliery (Llanmorlais) disaster, the new National Agreement, a scale of wages for boys employed at the anthracite collieries, retrospective Craftsmen's wages, anomalies in the rates of wages of the Hauliers and Trafficmen, and disasters at the Killan Colliery, Dunvant, the Blackbrook Colliery, Caerphilly, and the Duffryn Rhondda Colliery.
