Material, 1897-1900, relating to the case of John Pethick & Pethick Bros of Plymouth v. the Vale of Glamorgan Railway Company, the arbitrator in the case being Sir James Weeks Szlumper, and including: printed material, May-December 1900, relating to the court case, with further handwritten, typewritten and printed reports, statements, accounts, etc.; a copy of Sir Benjamin Baker's report, 1898, on the Porthkerry Viaduct; and a printed claim, April 1900, of the Vale of Glamorgan Railway Company against John Pethick and Pethick Bros, with a handwritten amended claim, May 1900.
