Biographical history
Arthur Foulkes-Roberts (1864-1941) of Denbigh was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Denbigh. He and his brother R.D. Roberts transcribed various parish registers, tombstone inscriptions, church memorials, probate, episcopal and diocesan records, mostly from Denbighshire and Flintshire.

Roberts in the margins and on many of the interleaves; photographs, press cuttings and other printed items, 1902-1937, relating to Denbigh are pasted or tipped in the volume.
