Biographical history
The Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway Company was incorporated in 10 August 1882, connecting the the Rhondda Valley coalfields to the Swansea Bay ports. It were taken over by the Great Western Railway 1907, fully incorporated into the Great Western Railway following the Railways Act 1921.
