Biographical history
Richard Rees (Maldwyn) was much involved in the religious and civic community of his home town of Machynlleth, especially those activities connected with the Calvinistic Methodist cause in the area. In 1892 he was elected to represent the Machynlleth division within Montgomeryshire County Council.
