1 Humphrey Hughes of Pentre, p. Abergeley, and John Lloyd of Wickwer, both of co. Denb., gent's. 2 William Parry of Hendrevawr, esq., and John Williams of Carwedvynyth, gent. Settlement, in accordance with an agreement made after the marriage of the said Humphrey Hughes and Elizabeth, his now wife, daughter of the said John Lloyd, on 28 July 1656 (the said Humphrey Hughes being then under 21 years of age) and a mortgage to secure £140 lent by the said John Lloyd, of the capital m. called Y Pentre in Abergeley, wherein the said Humphrey Hughes now dwelleth, and all houses, lands, etc., in Abergeley (one called y Ty mawr, wherein Emma Hughes, mother of the said Humphrey Hughes, lately dwelled, the other a house wherein Piers Holland lately dwelled), a m. and land in Hendregyda called Bryn coonus, m's and lands in gwrych (one called the tenement in ffynnawn ddofn or ffynnown ddol, the other called glan y wern), a house and parcel of land near the marsh in Botegwall, the site of a mill in t. gwrych near Llanddulas, and all other m's, lands, etc., which the said Humphrey Hughes and John Lloyd now have or ought to have in p. Abergele.
