(defendants), concerning right of access to the foreshore lying in the parishes of St Athan and Gileston, co. Glam., formerly in the manor of East Orchard (also mentioned are the manors of West Orchard, Castleton and Gilston / Gileston). Also included are extracts from, and abstracts of, documents from the Public Record Office, now The National Archives, and in the custody of Hugh Alexander, Cardiff, 1558-1873, including deeds, Plea Rolls, Inquisitions Post Mortem and Exchequer Depositions.
