The volume comprises the register of members at the company's inception, 1885 (ff. 1-16), and annual lists of members with accounts of shares, 1885-1900 (ff. 17-97). Items found loose within the volume, including miscellaneous correspondence, a share certificate and various forms and notices from the Companies' Registry Agents, have been placed in an archival envelope (31 ff.).

The series contains documents, 1913-1973, relating to shares and shareholders, together with a number of Trust estate deeds, 1922-1937, which were filed with share transfer forms.
