The provenance of these deeds is not clear, but there may be a connection with the Voelas estate in the parish of Ysbyty Ifan, of which John Griffith (2) of Garn was a trustee. The reference to properties in Llanfihangel [Glyn Myfyr] may suggest a link with the lands of Robert Wynne of Plasnewydd.
