Possibly part of a collection of tours by antiquary John Pridden (1758-1824), a collection which was at some point dispersed. Parts are held at the Bodleian Library, Oxford, Northampton Central Library and other institutions. His 'Tour in the North of England, 1779' was presented for sale by John Hart, Binham, Norfolk, Catalogue 99 Manuscripts [May 2015], item 58.
