Transcripts of Fishguard parish registers made by J. T. Evans in 1915, containing: vol. 1, marriages, 1785-1812; vol. 2, baptisms, 1795-1812, and burials, 1799-1812. Also transcribed are three loose leaves of earlier registers containing baptisms, 1755-1804 (somewhat mixed and incomplete). See also MS 41. The second half of the volume contains transcripts of inscriptions from some North Pembrokeshire family bibles, made from time to time by J. T. Evans. The family names include: Titus Evans, Ty Rhos, Fishguard; Joseph Thomas (Master Mariner), Fishguard; Thomas Thomas (son of above); Capt. John Wade, Fishguard; Harries, Cefn-y-dre, Fishguard; Walter Levi Williams, Cefn-y-dre, Fishguard; Morris (related to the above); Llewhelin, Clyngarth, Llanychllwydog (later Forest, Newport); James, Caerlem, Llanwnda; Bowen, Treseisyllt, Grandston; George, Fishguard (the family of David Lloyd George, beginning with his grandfather); Daniel Berry, Pentwr, Fishguard; William Perkins, Llanvirn Farm (later Trevelgarn, later Hendrewen, Jordanston); William Gwyn Evans, Bodmor, Fishguard. Page 134 contains some jumbled notes taken from a family Bible containing the following surnames: Stephens, Davies, James, Howells. Page 113 has a copy of the will of David Humphrey, mariner.
