Material comprises mainly correspondence, usually between the company or colliery involved and the Association, and often with the South Wales Miners' Federation. Companies concerned include the Powell Dyffryn Steam Coal Co., the Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries, Evans & Bevan Ltd., the United National Collieries, the Brynhenllis Colliery, the Tredegar Iron and Coal Co., and the Thomas Merthyr Colliery Co.
