Administrative records of the University of Wales from its establishment in 1893 comprising papers relating to the foundation of the University; records of the University Court, Guild of Graduates, the Senate, Academic Board, University Council, Board of Celtic Studies, University of Wales Press Board, The Committee of Principals, Registrar's papers; records of committees, sub-committees and ad hoc committees created by, or answerable to, the Court, the Council, the Academic Board, etc., and printed materials. The archive is a fundamental source for the history of the University and for University education in Wales; to the development and provision of bilingual education in higher education in Wales, and, to a lesser extent to education in general in twentieth-century Wales.
