Scope and content
The Celtic Remains did not arrive at Llanfechain until Sept. 3. He is sorry to hear that Mr Jones the Harper has suffered such a loss - it is also a public loss as he had accumulated MSS, some of those perhaps irretrievable. A reply to Mr Owen concerning the situations of the places mentioned by Llywarch. His own opinion of the Celtic Remains. Iorwerth in his letter discussed very fully on Coelbren y Beirdd, for which he (WD) returns him thanks. Mr David Richards of Tywyn, Meirionydd, is here printing his Cywydd y Drindod. Iolo Morganwg has used the blank portion of the sheet to write some etymological notes. Endorsed: 'Walter Davies & Welsh Words'.
