The William Jones (Llangadfan) Memorial Committee (Cronfa Gofeb William Jones) was formed to commemorate the bicentenary of the death of William Jones (1726-1795), from Llangadfan, Montgomeryshire, who was a poet, philosopher as well as a physician.
