Many of the notes are written on mutilated letters addressed to Robert Vaughan. On the original covers, bound in at the end of the volume, is the incomplete text of a grant of an annuity issuing out of Y Towr Maen in Trawsvynyth from Richard Nanney of Llanylltyd to Cadwaladr ap Humfrey (ff. 95-96).
