Tile deeds mainly for burgages in Trefechan, Aberystwyth, 1566-1819. Boundaries include the highway and the river Rheidol. The earliest deeds record acquisitions by Ieuan ap David ap Moris, 1565/6, Richard ap John Vaughan, 1598, and James John, 1655. Susbsequent documents comprise the wills of two individuals called Richard James, 1685, 1688, each devising burgages to their cousins, both called John Lewis, followed by a feoffment by one John Lewis to John Herbert of Gogerddan [1685x1688]; and the wills of the two individuals called John Lewis, devising their properties respectively to Edward Pryse of Gogerddan, 1694, and to Lewis Pryse, 1713. There is also a lease by Sir Pryse Pryse of a lime kiln and yard at Trefechan, 1819.
