Bill of complaint in the Chancery division of the Court of Great Sessions for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire, 1692, by Alice Lewis of Abergwili, widow of Lodowicke Lewis, plaintiff, against Dame Dorothy Pryse, Edward Pryse and Evan Jones, defendants, for neglecting to repay two sums lent by the plaintiff to Sir Thomas Pryse and Sir Richard Pryse in 1674; and a subsequent bill by Griffith Lloyd of Cwmgwili, for non-payment of the debt which was required to fulfil a bequest in the will of Alice Lewis to the poor of the parish of Abergwili, with a bond by the defendants to Lodowicke Lewis,, 1685, a writ and the answer of Edward Pryse, 1696.
