They derive mostly from boundary disputes involving Eliza ap Moris, Moris ap Eliza and Sir William Maurice of Clenennau, 1521-1618, and the Wynn family of Glyn, 1543-1619, with a smaller number of items relating to lands of the Derwas family of Penrhos on the Montgomeryshire/Shropshire border, 1561-1717, the Owen family of Porkington and Llanddyn, 1631, 1725, Ormsby-Gore, 1822, and others in Flintshire, [c. 1429], 1566, 1581, and Merionethshire, 1556-1628.
