The series consists of papers relating to the numerous exhibitions and projects undertaken by Ray Howard-Jones from 1930 to 1993.

The series comprises mainly exhibition circulars, 1882-1908, together with notices of exhibitions and a list of prices of pictures, with invitation cards to various exhibitions, 1883-1912. The file also contains details of art classes held at the Royal Cambrian Academy, 1889-1907.

The group consists of material relating to art exhibitions with which Whaite was involved, 1863-1912, and includes exhibition catalogues, exhibition circulars, and miscellaneous papers to do with exhibitions.

Material relating to exhibitions other than the Women's Art in Wales exhibition of 1985, including printed booklets, press release and manuscript notes. Exhibitors include Claudia Williams, Gwilym Prichard and Frances Woodley.
