Bond in the penalty of £40 to appear before the King's justices to answer to Eva de Bailloil his mother concerning the land which she says happened to her by way of dowry in the vill of Hernege [Harnage, co. Salop] and to warrant to the Abbot and Monks the said 'Hernegia' against the claim of the said Eva his mother and against all other persons according to the tenor of the charter of his father which he [Gilebert the son] confirmed with his seal. Witnesses: Imbert, prior of Wenloc, William, priest of Drayton, magister Ranulf de Coleham, magister John Gernim, rector of the church of Aluitheleg [Alvely, co. Salop], Richard de Lecthon, Roger Sprenchose, John Tece. Latin. Seal.
