He discusses the political situation in Britain and the drama competition at the National Eisteddfod, and also asks EMH to correct the proofs of an article and poem that he has sent for publication in Cymru [A/54]. The writer congratulates EMH on Y Goleuad, and encloses a tribute to the late David Jenkins [A/56]. Robert Bryan has not seen [T.] Gwyn[n Jones's] book on Welsh literature. He regrets the adverse influence that Germany has had on learning and education, and encloses recollections of Sir Edward Anwyl and Sir John Rhys [A/57].
