Title deeds for Tythen Trefgoed, Tythen Pant Y Ty Hen, Tythen Y Gelli Gryne, Melin Gaylan, and Y Neyadd in the township of Ceulan a Maes-mawr, and Tythin Aber y Ddwy Afon in Tal-y-bont, 1572-1604. Some deeds refer to the place name Kaylan Ffose Vydyr. The deeds include a family settlement of David Lloyd ap Meredd' [of Llanbadarn Fawr] and Jaen (sic) his wife, 1572; a gift [?trust/?mortgage] by David Lloyd ap Mredd, of Tythyn Karreg Drefgoed and half of Y Gelli Grin to Mredeth ap H'oll ap Rees of Llanwrin, Montgomeryshire, and Thomas ap John Lloyd of Llanbadarn Fawr, 1580; a lease of Melin Gaylan by Jane vch Morice, and David ap D'd Lloyd ap Mer'dd, to Hugh ap John Lloyd of Prysgage, 1587, with an assignment to Richard Pryse, 1588; and deeds for the sale by David Lloyd ap David, Mredith Lloyd ap David Lloyd, Mredith ap Howell ap Res and Thomas ap John Lloid of all the properties to Richard Pryse of Gogerddan, 1588-1600. Associated documents include several quitclaims, and a bond to indemnify Sir Richard Pryse, stating that the properties had been seized into the Queen's hands for the debt of David Lloyd ap Mer'edd, deceased, late sheriff of Cardiganshire, 1604.
