Wales, Nicholas Wood, [George] Martin, [mine agent], and John Evans, [works manager], addressed to Sir J. J. Guest and later to Lady Charlotte (pp. 1-94, 155-178). Also included are details of the power of engines used at the Dowlais Works (pp. 204-206).
Loose in the volume is a manuscript statement concerning a strike at Dowlais in 1853 (9 ff.).
