The file comprises Embassy Circular No. 62 relating to the UK Delegation to Four Power Disarmament Talks, May 1964 (Peter Thomas was the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs); copy of a despatch by Sir Cecil Parrott following a visit by Peter Thomas as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs to Czechoslovakia in August 1964; a list of delegates to the Congressional-Parliamentary Conference, Williamsburg Va. in March 1974; Foreign Affairs Committee visit to Moscow, July 1985; a programme and report relating to an official delegation to Australia lead by Lord Thomas of Gwydir, August-September 1991.
Also, a briefing issued in relation to a visit by Peter Thomas to South Eastern Area constituencies of Rochester & Chatham and Gravesend on 23 November 1973, together with a letter, with a photograph and press cuttings enclosed, from the Chairman of Rochester and Chatham Conservative Association following the visit.
