The contents of the manuscript were published by the University of Wales Press Board in 1933 under the title of Llawysgrif Hendregadredd.

A scrap book compiled by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') containing manuscript notes and press cuttings on Welsh orthography, the significance of the poetry of mediaeval Welsh bards, etc. ('Orgraff', 'Geiriau', 'Yr Iaith yn Newid', 'Gweithiau y Beirdd', 'Canu Clod eu Noddwyr', etc.).

A holograph manuscript of Peter Bailey Williams containing annotated transcripts of 'awdlau', 'cywyddau' and 'englynion' by Goronwy Owen; letters of Goronwy Owen, Lewis Morris ('Llewelyn Ddu o Fôn'), and William Morris (printed in J. H. Davies (ed.): The Letters of Goronwy Owen (1723-1769) (Cardiff 1924), The Letters of Lewis, Richard, William and John Morris ... 1728-1765, vols I-II (Aberystwyth, 1907-09), etc.); lists of 'Modern Welsh Authors, [fl. 1590-1770] and '... Bards who flourished about 1280'; 'englynion' by Rhisiart Jones ('o Fôn) and an 'awdl' by 'Guttun Gwrecsam' ('sef John Edward, neu Sion Ceiriog'); and a list of 'Authors of Welsh Grammars'. There are some annotations by St George Armstrong Williams.

A volume, [1813x1815] (watermark 1813), containing translations into English verse, probably by Sir John Bernard Bosanquet (see pencil note on f. 2), of Welsh poetry by Dafydd ap Gwilym (ff. 4-5), Aneirin (ff. 6-7 verso), Taliesin (ff. 8-10), Gwalchmai ap Meilyr (ff. 11-13), Cynddelw Brydydd Mawr (f. 14 recto-verso) and Iolo Goch (ff. 16-17 verso).
Also included are notes on the poets and their works (ff. 20-30 verso) and an English translation of triads attributed to Catwg Ddoeth (ff. 18-19 verso). The volume is illustrated with six ink and wash sketches (ff. 3, 4, 5, 11, 17 verso, 26), including one of Cilgerran Castle, Pembrokeshire (f. 4). Frances Elizabeth Lewis (d. 1846), to whom the volume was given (see f. 2), was the sister of Mary Anne (d. 1819), wife of J. B. Bosanquet.
