Agreements, plans, correspondence etc. relating to water and sewage pipes, cables, wires etc. laid over and under private and railway property in Wales (plus a very few in neighbouring parts of England), including grants of right and easements for maintenance. Almost every agreement includes one or more plans.

The 2014 group is arranged into three sub-fonds: pre-1921 private railway companies; post 1921 Railway Act; and post 1947 Transport Act. The files within each sub-fonds are arranged in alphabetical order according to the nearest place names mentioned in the documents, and then in chronological order. The 2018 group is arranged in alphabetical order according to the nearest railway place mentioned in the documents. Cardiff and Newport have been arranged into decadal bundles, and Swansea has been divided into one bundle of large deeds and one bundle of small deeds.
