Biographical history
The constitution of the Gregynog Committee was approved by Council at its meeting on 17 November 1960. It is charged with overseeing the running of Gregynog residential conference centre and 750 acres of land in Montgomeryshire, which was bequeathed to the University by Miss Margaret Davies of Gregynog and, on her death in 1963, the University entered into occupation and accepted its first courses there in the Autumn of 1964.
