Group of deeds and documents relating to the purchase by Thomas Evans of Llanidloes, esq., of David Lloyd of Newtown, Maltster, in 1831, of Cefnhafode and Brynmawr, p. Llangurig, and to the investigation of title of the properties by Thomas Edmund Marsh, solicitor, Llanidloes, on behalf of the purchaser. They comprise conditions of sale of the Cefnhafode estate, 1 Jan. 1831; memorandum of agreement for purchase, 25 Jan. 1831; instructions by T. E. Marsh to prepare the conveyance, 15 March 1831; condition (copy) of a bond, 26 July 1831, from Thomas Evans to David Lloyd for securing to the latter's mother Mary Lloyd of Caersws, widow, a sum of £20 a year as a consideration for releasing Cefnhafode from her annuity and for payment of part of the purchase money; draft statement of conveyancing account from T.
