Herbert family papers, including letters, poems, accounts, financial and other memoranda, lists of books bought, lists of wearing apparel, linen] pewter, and plate, notes relating to Bewdley, Worcestershire, and other notes and papers by or relating to Sir Henry Herbert, Edward, third baron Herbert of Cherbury, Henry, fourth baron, Henry, fifth baron, Henry, sixth baron, and Francis Walker, cousin to the sixth baron. Among the writers, in addition to members of the Herbert family, are Henry Compton, bishop of London, and Erasmus Lewis, who writes from Abergwilly, 1709.
