Huw Morris Jones, Wendon, Penygarth, Caernarvon (University College of North Wales, Bangor). Was dismayed to read that Flintshire proposes to appoint a full-time Labour organiser at an annual cost of £800. The North Wales Labour Federation agreed last November to set up a committee to report on the situation in North Wales. Recalls that Huw T. Edwards agreed to act as the convenor of that Committee. 'It appears then that this unilateral action on the part of Flintshire indicated your own lack of faith in the recommendation of the Federation and that the agreement of last November is meaningless'. The situation needs to be reviewed afresh, and advice given to the constituency parties.
