    Assignment of lease for the residue of a term of 99 years of a piece of ground with cottages and houses erected thereon and their gardens in King Street, Bryn-mawr [p. Llangatwg] co. Brec.
    Recites the original lease of 1 August 1846 (no. 400 above); the will of the original tenant Morgan Rees, made 1 February 1860, proved 22 September 1860; the deaths of his executors, namely his widow, Jane Rees, 13 August 1864, and his brother John Rees, 29 June 1868; that 1 were appointed executors of the will of John Rees, made 21 October 1867, proved 13 April 1869; that in response to the desire of J.R.’s niece Mary Thomas, now wife of John Morgan, for her share under the said will, 1 put up the property for auction, which was purchased by 2; and the licence by the Duke of Beaufort to make the assignment, 1873 (endorsed on no. 400)
