They comprise notices to tenants to quit, 1815; papers concerning the ejectment of Hannah Jones of Blaenantfflyman, 1855-1856; letters and papers about a new valuation of the Abernantbychan estate, 1857-1858; and papers relating to leases of Waunmendy, Cefnceirw and Pembroke Castle, 1890-(Postmark 1906)

Administration and trust papers of Pryse Loveden

Papers relating to the adminstration of Pryse Loveden of Gogerddan, who died intestate in 1855. They include the letters of administration, together with accounts of his trustees, Hon. Thomas Pryce Lloyd of Pengwern, Flintshire, and Rev. James Allen of Castlemartin, Pembrokeshire, 1846-1862; vouchers of Capt. Edward Lewis Pryse, who acted as the agent for the Gogerddan estate, 1855-1858; letters exchanged between the solicitors Boys and Tweedie and the trustees and agents, copies and abstracts of deeds, and other relevant papers, 1855-1862.

Ann Foulkes of Trelydan

Papers relating to the estate of Ann Foulkes ([?1790]-1869), Trelydan, Guilsfield, including letters written by both Ann Foulkes and by others on her behalf ([1842]-1869); papers of the Foulkes family (1762-1886); legal papers relating to dispute of Ann Foulkes' estate (1867-1870); and sale catalogues and valuations of the Trelydan estate (1869;1871). The Trelydan estate was sold to Jane Anne (Devereux) Pryce of Maesmawr Hall in 1871.

Army life

Papers from his time serving in the British army during WWII. Includes personal letters back home, a diary, and theatrical scripts and notes. Also, copies of photographs from army shows, sent to Harry Secombe by the daughter of one of his former army colleagues in 1978.

Breconshire title deeds

Title deeds of the Breconshire estate belonging to the Lewes (Lewis) family of Borden, Hurst and Aberrnantbychan, and later to the Pryses of Gogerddan, 1488-1774. The estate included the manor of Trewallter and Priors Court in Llan-gors, and other properties in the parishes of Brecon, Llanfihangel Nant Bran, Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn, Llangasty Tal-y-llyn, Llywel and Merthyr Cynog. In addition to Lewes, other prominent family names are Games, Watkins and Vaughan

The series comprises briefing notes, correspondence and minutes and summaries of meetings which members of the commission held with members and officers of local authorities in Wales both to solicit information and discuss potential recommendations for the commission to make. The files contain detailed information about the population, economy and services in the various local authority areas and details on trends and forecasts along with opinions voiced by local authority members.
