Establishment of Tros Gynnal Plant

The series comprises of papers related to the Task Force established by the National Assembly for Wales to consider options to continue the work of The Children's Society following its decision to close operations in Wales. It contains minutes and meeting papers, reports and correspondence, press released and newspaper clippings. The charity Tros Gynnal was eventually established to carry out this work.

Welsh Affairs Committee investigations

The series comprises papers related to work by members of Parliament inquiring into the decision of The Children's Society to close its operations in Wales in a hearing before the Welsh Affairs Committee in December 2001, the subsequent report and a debate in the House of Commons called by Julie Morgan MP.
