A manuscript containing 'Lexicon Cambro-Britannicum' by William Gambold, late of Exeter College, Oxford, later rector of Puncheston in Pembrokeshire. Part i of the manuscript contains an English-Welsh dictionary of '88 sheets, writ in 7 months' and completed 'Sep. 14. 1722'. The material was 'collected out of Dr. Davies's Latin-Welsh Dictionary, the Welsh translation of the holy Bible, several approved Welsh Authors, and common use'. There are three columns to each folio. Part ii contains a Welsh-English dictionary of '36 sheets', begun 'Nov. 27. 1721' and completed 'Feby. 17th 1721/2'. There are three columns to each folio.

A manuscript in the autograph of Sir John Doddridge containing 'Dyvers Antiquyties ... Concerninge the Principallitie of Wales, the Duchey of Cornewall, and Earldome of Chester'. The text contains references to the investiture of the princes of Wales over the centuries - including those of Edward I and Edward the 'Black Prince' - and the government of the principality of Wales and the Marches.
A manuscript containing, in excellent script by William Owen-Pughe, the works of Aneirin and Taliesin, etc. At the beginning of the volume are sketches of human faces, followed by notes on 'Gafis' and 'Deffrobani' and on the Irish alphabet, and a title page headed 'o Gasgliad Huw Morus, Tuddyn Tudur, 1796' (pp. i-2). The text also includes introductions to Aneirin and Taliesin (pp. 7, 63). There is no evidence that this manuscript was used for the Myvyrian Archaiology of Wales.
A manuscript containing the second volume of Dr John Davies's Welsh-Latin Dictionary, in the autograph of Dr Davies. The manuscript appears to be a transcript of Sir Thomas Wiliems's Welsh-Latin Dictionary. This text contains more and fuller quotations than the printed edition of 1632.
A manuscript containing the Bruts (pp. 67-203, 213-292); genealogical tables (pp. 6-66); pedigrees (pp. 293-350); &c. The text is bi-columnar in several styles of writing and in different shades of ink but by one hand, probably that of Owain Gwynedd, except for pp. 138-139, which are in a later hand, possibly that of Robert Vaughan, Hengwrt. Place names written in the margins at pp. 333-336, 340, 342-343 may be in the hand of Robert Vaughan, Hengwrt. The volume has a label on the front cover in the same hand as most of the Peniarth Manuscripts and is numbered '3'. Cf. Aneurin Owen's Catalogue of the Dwning MSS No. 3. This manuscript is described in the Bruts (Oxford, 1890) as 'Mr. Egerton Phillimore's Folio MS'. The text beginning at p. 67 agrees with that of Peniarth MS 212 (= Hengwrt MS 319). A manuscript containing 'Leges Hoelianæ ex vetustissimo Exemplario Membranaceo Per Guilielmum Mauricium Lansilinniensem', noted as being 'fideleter Transcriptæ Annno Domini MDCLXII'. The words 'Per Guilielmum Mauricium Lansilinniensem' and 'Anno Domini MDCLXII' have been blottesquely deleted by a hand which has substituted in the margin 'in Bibliothecâ Roberti Vaughan de Hengwrt Armigeri': in other words, it is a transcript of pp. 1-47 of Peniarth MS 28. The text is beautifully written but left unfinished. In c. 1685 the transcript was noted as being 'curâ Doct: Humphrys Decani Banchorensis'.
A manuscript containing surveys of Gower in the time of Elizabeth I and of Oliver Cromwell. The first part of the volume contains a copy of a Survey of Gower Anglia, written in Latin and English, the original having being made around 1576-1578. The second part of the volume contains a copy of the Survey of the Seigniory of Gower, the text of which can be found in a Survey of Gower Anglica, pp. 1-94. The text of Gower Anglica may be found, with certain variants and a few slight omissions, on pp. 97-121 of Surveys of Gower and Kilvey, which was issued as a supplemental volume by the Cambrian Archaeological Association in 1870. G. G. Francis, who edited the Surveys in 1861, superintended the binding in 1846.
A manuscript containing The Burial of Arthur (pp. 206-233), The Travels of Odoricus (pp. 234-277), The Seven Wise Men of Rome (pp. 278-319), The Gospel of Nicodemus (pp. 320-343), theological tracts, etc. (pp. 344-407). For The Seven Wise Men of Rome see also the Red Book of Hergest, col. 555. The text of the Gospel of Nicodemus is very brief and seems to follow the 'Latin Gospel of Nicodemus' (see Tischendorf & Harris Cowper's editions of the Apocryphal Gospels). The text beginning at p. 350 breaks off in the middle of a commentary on the tenth commandment and the remainder of the text is lost. The Commandments are given in Latin and Welsh, and the commentary upon them is extensive. This manuscript is a continuation of 'Didrefn Gasgliad Vol. I'.
Welsh proverbs collected by John Morgan which had been omitted from the Dictionary of Dr John Davies, Mallwyd. Also included in the manuscript are a series of the first couplets of Dafydd ap Gwilym's poems.

A manuscript entitled 'Immanuel neu Ddirgelwch Cnawdoliaeth mab Duw' in the hand of the Reverend Samuel Williams. The text is a Welsh translation of Archbishop James Ussher's Immanuel: or, The mystery of the incarnation of the Son of God (1638). Samuel Williams ends his text with a citation from the work of the poet Sion Phylip.
