Minutes of meetings of the Cymmrodorion Council and AGMs. These are in the hand of the secretary, Charles W. Jones, from 1885 to 1887, and of his successor, Sir E. Vincent Evans, from 1887 to 1934. Subsequent minutes are typescript.

The series comprises letters addressed to the secretary, mostly from members of the Cymmrodorion, dealing with internal administrative matters, such as subscriptions, publications, meetings, and social functions. Many of the correspondents were personal friends of Sir E. Vincent Evans, and their letters include comments on current political affairs.

The series includes correspondence with the Honourary Secretary, J. L. C. Cecil-Williams, relating to the Cymmrodorion Medal. A large proportion of the correspondence deals with the redesigning of the Medal in 1954-1955. There are also copies of presentation ceremony programmes and copies of addresses made at ceremonies.

Cymmrodorion Welsh War Relief Committee correspondence
The series includes correspondence with the Cymmrodorion secretary, J. L. C. Cecil-Williams, relating to the Welsh War Relief Committee (the Welsh division of the British War Relief Society), a charity formed to administer relief to Welsh war victims, which was sponsored mainly by Welsh exiles from the USA and the British Dominions. -- Apart from the correspondence, there is also a committee gifts register, 1941-1947, and a committee account book, 1941-1946.
