The file comprises letters relating mainly to her political career and public service, notably the general election of 1966 and her work as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, 1966-1967, Minister of State at the Welsh Office, 1967-1970, and Chairman of the Labour Party, 1968-1969. Many of the letters concern various aspects of Welsh affairs, and the rich array of committees, societies and organisations with which Eirene White was associated. The political diaries of Lord Roberts of Conwy from 1970 to 1996 divided into 18 volumes. The diaries cover most of Lord Roberts' time as Member of Parliament for Conwy and his entire career at the Welsh Office and include letters, newpaper cuttings and pictures added by Lord Roberts. Many subject are covered including the establishment of S4C, Welsh language legislation, inward investment, the Falklands War, the Gulf War, Northern Ireland, the bombing of the Conservative Party conference in Brighton by the IRA in 1984, general elections and the European Union.

Some of the publications are those of the Welsh Office. There are also some parliamentary papers, and orders of motions and orders of the day in the House of Commons. There are election manifestos, addresses and leaflets, publications (mainly of political interest) issued by various groups, and a small quantity of material of legal or constitutional interest.

Correspondence dating from the establishment of the Welsh Beekeepers' Association in 1943 to 2021, mainly to and from Welsh Beekeepers' Association officials - who include J[ohn] E[mrys] Anwyl (Honorary Secretary), J. H. Ball (Honorary Secretary, later Honorary Editor), John E. Lancaster (Honorary Secretary), Mr D. A. Thomas (Honorary Secretary), Commander Eric George Verge (Honorary Secretary), Wally Shaw, Tom Rowlands (President), Lynfa Davies (Secretary), John Page (Secretary) and Lynda Christie (Chair) (tendering her resignation from her post) - and other members, writing either as individuals or as representatives of their respective county/district beekeepers' associations. Correspondence relating to the deposit of Welsh Beekeepers Association records at the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth includes a letter, 25 July 2014, from then Chief Executive and Librarian Aled Gruffydd Jones informing John Page of the Welsh Beekeepers' Association that WBKA papers held at the Library had been destroyed by fire in April 2013 (see note in main section of archive).
