A folder of loose leaves containing an 'Album of Eminent Welsh Preachers' or 'Pregethwyr Hen Gymanfaoedd Cymru' prepared for the press by Lewis Jones (Rhuddenfab), Ruthin, 1 July 1888. Reports on, together with transcripts and translations, 1868-1937, of records held mainly at the old Public Record Office, now The National Archives (TNA), prepared by Messrs Hardy and Page, record agents, Lincoln's Inn, London, together with relevant legal papers, some drawn up by James G. Wood (1843-1928). The searches were undertaken at the request of solicitors, and used as evidence in legal disputes, often relating to manorial lands throughout Wales, including foreshore rights, mineral rights, and fishery rights.

Papers relating to estate infrastructure at Cefn Cribwr, 1771-1785, including notes on the state of the roads at the forge; plans for two new canals at the forge and at a small colliery nearby; and some notes on stirring canals, improving meadows by mixing canal soils and lime, and on mending a broken dam. The file also contains pages from various booklets on water wheels and troughs; justifications for using one water wheel at Cefn Cribwr; and a printed plan of the canal from Coventry to Oxford, 1771.
