Donated by Rosemary Brooks, Rhiwlas, Llanfyllin, Powys, in Aug. 1988. They were formerly in the possession of her grandfather, the Rev. Thomas Davies James ('Iago Erfyl', 1861-1927), rector of Llanerfyl, co. Mont., 1901-1927.

Abstract Of Tithe Apportionment, dated 1 Aug. 1838, confirmed 1841, whereby rectorial tithes in respect of lands in t. Treflach, p. Oswestry, Shropshire (schedule appended) in the possession of Rowland Hunt, esq., of Boreatton Hall, t. Treflach, were merged in the freehold of the said lands, and a rentcharge of £63.15.0 p.a. to be paid to him. Deed donated by Mr W. E. Roberts, 84 Fewston Close, Newton Aycliffe, co.
