An incomplete essay (pp. 1-11, 39-44, 97-106) on 'Cymry Enwog hanner cyntaf y ddeunawfed ganrif, a'u dylanwad ar Lenyddiaeth Cymru. Great Welshmen of the first half of the 18th Century, and their influence on Welsh Literature', which was awarded the prize at the National Eisteddfod at Wrexham, 1912. There are some comments by J. H. Davies, who was one of the adjudicators.
