Jim [James] G[riffiths], House of Commons. Missed Huw T. Edwards on the telephone because he was at Aldershot that evening. The assistance which Huw T. Edwards provided over west Wales is much appreciated by the writer and the local people. There is a meeting with the Ministers the following day, and the writer will remember what Huw T. Edwards had to say. The Labour Shadow Cabinet would not be prepared to make a pronouncement of the kind wished by Huw T. Edwards. Will write again after the meeting with the Ministers.
