Papers relating to Dr Salim Khalil Haddad (1939–2025), brain surgeon. The papers comprise Haddad’s research material and manuscript for From the Arabic Language Hymnal (2003), a volume of English translations of hymns from an Arabic-language hymnal used by evangelical churches in Lebanon. The collection also includes correspondence, a poem written by Haddad, tributes and memorial reflections composed following his death in 2025, further English translations of Arabic hymns, including works by Nasif al-Yaziji (1800–1871), and a photograph of Haddad himself.

Born in Palestine to Lebanese parents, Hadadd studied medicine in London before becoming a surgeon at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth. Following a decade working as a neurosurgeon in the United Arab Emirates, Haddad returned to Aberystwyth, where he spent his retirement.
