The series comprises balanced accounts of receipts and expenditure. The receipts are mainly from members' contributions, loose and retiring collections, the Sisterhood and the Sunday School, and in the earlier years from the Band of Hope, the Penny Weekly Fund and social events. The expenditure is mainly on ministry, lay preachers, maintenance of the church, and contributions to the Church, including at various periods the central fund, the combined levy and sustentation.
