Cae dan yr heol (Llanwenarth) deeds

Original bundle of deeds relating to a house with gardens, orchards and a parcel of meadow called Cae dan y hewle (3 covers) in the parish of Llanwenarth, Monmouthshire, purchased in 1786 by John Morgan of Dderw, esq., from William Price of Llanwenarth, dyer. According to the original wrapper of the bundle (discarded), the property was then let to the said William Price at a rent of £4 10s. 0d.

One of forty-one volumes containing transcripts of, and extracts from, parish registers and bishops' transcripts of parish registers principally from Monmouthshire in the autograph of Bradney, with several insets in the autographs of John Hobson Matthews of Monmouth, Francis Green of St Davids, John Davies of Aberystwyth and others. This volume contains transcripts and extracts from the parish registers of Llanfihangel Crucorney, 1696-1812; Bettws Newydd, 1696-1813; Bettws, 1725-1810; Llantilio Pertholey, 1725-1811; Llanwenarth, 1725-1812; Trostrey, 1802-1812; and Llanwrda (Camarthenshire), 1673-1763; with draft pedigrees.
