Biographical history
Thomas Evan Nicholas (Niclas y Glais, 1878-1971), poet, was born in Llanfyrnach, Pembrokeshire. He became a prominent Welsh speaker and writer for the Independent Labour Party. His political views caused him to be imprisoned on false charges at the beginning of the Second World War.
